Description
4’x 10′ sheet of very thin, non woven polyester fabric is the perfect material for a breather fabric. Unlike screen type material which can telegraph the screen pattern onto the face of the part under vacuum pressure our fabric has no discernible pattern which can harm your project.
Use this fabric to prevent the vacuum from sealing the perimeter of your part insuring equal pressure over your parts entire surface. Uneven pressure can cause the adhesive to be pushed to the center of your part creating an uneven surface or bubbles under the veneer.
Breather fabric should be used with a protective film between the part and the fabric to prevent “squeeze out” from touching the fabric. a painter polyethylene drop cloth is the recommended material.
